As I first started playing Elder Scrolls Online, I didn't know what I was doing. Regarding that, my first character, Rianmiel Rose, turned out pretty good. She's still my absolute favourite to play. She excels at clearing out public dungeons solo, and can take on most base game bosses without any help. As all of my builds, Rianmiel is designed for casual solo play only. No Trials or PvP with this one!
Rianmiel is a dual-wielding Dark Elf Nightblade. Her skills come from Assasination, Dual-Wielding, Shadow, and Siphoning trees. Most of her skills heal her as they deal damage. This makes Rianmiel quite difficult to get rid of: as her health regenerates as enemies die around her, she usually comes out on top.
Skills
From the first day I played ESO, I knew I wanted to play solo. I'm not good with other people. Having to depend on someone else's help is just not for me. Therefore, Rianmiel Rose's build is heavy on self-healing abilities, relying on skills from assassination, shadow, and siphoning lines. I have two sets of daggers equipped. Usually, it's advised to combine a ranged weapon to close combat weapons for a Nightblade build, like swords and bow, but I wanted to do something a bit different. With two sets of blades, Rianmiel Rose can do both area damage and targeted damage, and have an enchanted weapon set along with a poisoned one. This is especially handy when doing dungeons solo.
Set One - Enchanted Blades
Swallow Soul
Surprise Attack
Reaper's Mark
Blood Craze
Killer's Blade
Ultimate Ability
Soul Tether
Set Two - Poisoned Blades
Swallow Soul
Summon Shade
Steel Tornado
Bloodthirst
Deadly Cloak
Ultimate Ability
Rend
Gear
Choosing gear can be an intimidating task. I like to pick out one recommended set, and another one that seems... interesting. For Rianmiel Rose, I chose The Hunding's Rage Set. This is a craftable set, which grants perks for weapon critical, weapon damage, and maximum stamina. For a stamina build, this is a must. My Hunding's Rage covers all weapon slots (I chose to go with two sets of daggers), chest, waist, and hands.
For my other set, I went with The Unfathomable Darkness. This is an overland set, which means that you can find pieces for it by killing bosses, and by looting chests. You can also get pieces of it by completing daily quests. This set drops in the Clockwork City only. The Unfathomable Darkness set gives perks for weapon critical and weapon damage along with physical penetration. When you have all five pieces, you have a 10% chance of summoning a murder of crows that deal damage to nearby enemies. I find this set to be highly entertaining. What could be cooler than having your own, personal mob of crows pop up whenever needed!
Two full sets, when placed correctly, leaves head and shoulders free. These slots should be used for a monster set. You can get those be completing Veteran Dungeons, and Undaunted daily quests. Helms drop from dungeons, and pauldrons can be purchased from Undaunted vendors. Rianmiel Rose dons The Stormfist set. This set adds a perk to stamina recovery, and gives a 10% chance to create a thunderfist each time you deal damage. The Stormfist deals a great deal of damage to nearby enemies, and offers a delightfully entertaining animation as a bonus.
When choosing gear, you should make certain to have both weapons from the same set. This way, your set won't break when you switch between weapons.
