Last time I showed you an ESO-build, I dropped a teaser about a NecroVampHealer I'm creating. That was a long, long time ago, but now, Tinaysa Rose is finally ready for her close-up.
As you may have noticed, I truly enjoy making Vampire characters. Since the Vampire skill line got a make-over, I've found an even deeper love for creatures of the night. Playing with Vampires, especially if you're like me and prefer to keep them on Stage 4 where health no longer regenerates and casting abilities costs extra, can be challenging. You need to find the perfect combo of dealing damage and staying alive while still having fun with the game. With Tinaysa Rose, everything fell to place early on. I chose to go with the Necromancer Healer abilities with her, spice everything up with a scythe, and slap all sorts of healing gear on her.
In the end, Tinaysa soloe'd Arx Corinium like it was a common delve. I couldn't be happier with her!
SkillsI play ESO alone. All of my characters are intended for PvE only. No Trials or PvP with these girls!
Tinaysa Rose is, like most basic Sorcs, armed with two staffs. Her primary weapon is a Lightning Staff. Her back-up weapon, a Resto Staff, is equipped with abilities that need to be cast before she enters combat. Unlike most of my heroes, Tinaysa comes with a gang.
Building this character is fast and easy: Tinaysa's abilities come from common skill trees that require little effort to unlock. Her gear, though, may prove a bit more challenging to obtain.
Playing with Tinaysa is very straightforward. All you really need is to call forth her gang, and slay enemies. Keeping an eye on her companions and re-summoning them as needed is the only thing that requires concentration.
Set One - Restoration Staff
Healing Ward (this ability allows Tinaysa to help friends in trouble)
Set Two - Inferno Staff
Ultimate AbilitySwarming Scion (feel free to choose your favourite Ultimate to go here!)
GearTinaysa wears three sets of armor. One of these is a craftable set from the base game.
Magnus' Gift is a nice, universal Magicka set. It can be crafted in Greenshade, Rivenspire, and Shadowfen. It grants a boost to Maximum Magicka, Magicka Recovery, and Spell Damage. With all five pieces equipped, you have a 15% chance to negate a cast ability's cost. For a Stage 4 Vampire this is a truly useful buff. I have Magnus' Gift covering Chest, Legs, Neck, and both Weapons.
Tinaysa's Resto Staff is enchanted to deal Shock Damage, whereas her Destro Staff bears the Absorb Magicka Enchantment. This way, Tinaysa won't have to worry about running low on Magicka.
Tinaysa's second set drops from Spindleclutch, a Group Dungeon in Glenumbra.
The Prayer Shawl Set grants a boost to Maximum Magicka, Spell Damage, and Magicka Recovery. With all five pieces equipped, the set casts a damage shield when Tinaysa overheals herself, or a friend.
Tinaysa's Monster Helm drops when you slay the last boss in Elden Hollow I in Veteran mode. Shoulders can be purchased from Undaunted Vendors. I chose the
Chokethorn Set to make certain Tinaysa would be able to offer aid in combat. This was before I realized just how powerful she truly is... The Chokethorn Set grants a boost to Magicka Recovery. With both pieces equipped, it sometimes summons a Strangler Sapling to heal Tinaysa or her friends when she uses a healing ability. This is a really fun set which works for all kinds of healers.
Getting these sets isn't much of a challenge: you will need friends for Group Dungeons, but Spindleclutch and Elden Hollow I are both easy ones.
I hope you had fun reading about Tinaysa's build.
Until next time.
Love,
Heather
