ESO: My Play Style

Elder Scrolls Online is the first ever online-game I've played. I started playing it alone, literally wanting to hide from all other players, and that has greatly affected my playing style. Before this, I've only played single-person games on my PC.

Alone.

OK, I may have played Halo in co-op mode with my ex, but that doesn't count.

In ESO, my goal from the start was to create characters who would be able to run through delves and public dungeons on their own, without having to rely on the help of others. At first, it seemed like an impossible task. I remember watching max level characters reaping through hordes and hordes of enemies like it was a walk in the park, and riding off into the sunset on their impossibly speedy steeds.

I, on level 1, struggling to slay a scamp, sighed "one day, one day I will also be great."

And now I am.

I currently have four max level characters. The first one I created, Rianmiel Rose, a dual-wielding Nightblade, is still my favourite. She's a Dark Elf armed with two daggers, a vampire for cosmetic purposes only. Rianmiel is my go-to character when I'm having a bad day and just want to go to a dolmen and slay everything in sight.
Thrice.
Because of the guest.
You know what I mean.

After her, I made a mage named Erzébeth.
Yes, she's named after Elizabeth Báthory.
She is the only one I created following a pre-made template. Erzébeth is a modification of Alcast's Streak Sorc, and for a while, I thought I'd use her to try out PvP. Dying many, many times cured me of that delusion. I've made quite a few alterations to Alcast's build, but I wanted to mention the inspiration, and the source for both skill lines and part of her gear.

After that, Elsweyr dropped, and I had to try out the new Necromancer class. Thusly, Ethérna Rose was born. When I first made her, I figured she'd be a full Necro. Things never go as planned, and now she's a Necro-Vamp. Playing this character is so much fun, and once Greymoor drops in June (hopefully, that is, all games along with ESO DLCs and Chapters are affected with the current state of the world), I will explore the updated vampire skill lines with her.

After that, I thought I'd like to play a healer. I created a Warden named Leana Rose, who accidentally turned into a Frost Mage. A healer build is frustrating to play solo; healers deal low damage, and though they manage to stay alive through storms of fire and ice (I made a joke there), I prefer to rain down lighting and lava. Thusly, Leana got to be a Lightning Staff- wielding Frost Mage. She just hit max level, and is in need of some minor tweaking, but I will be showing her off just as soon as she's ready.

All of my go-to characters are female, most of them bear the surname Rose, and all have one thing in common: they are self-healing damage dealers capable of clearing out any public dungeon and taking on base world Bosses - on their own. They all have their own personalities, their own way of dressing, and their own, unique skill lines.
Which I crafted almost all by myself.

In future blog posts, I will be introducing all of my Bad-Ass Bitches in turn.

I hope you'll stay tuned for more info on my builds.
Until next time.
Love,
Heather
